The season 20 finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ airs tonight, Thursday May 30, 2024, on ABC. The long-running medical drama’s latest season, consisting of only 10 episodes, concludes with its two-part finale, titled “Burn It Down.”

In the finale, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital are flooded with patients after wildfires in the Seattle area. The doctors juggle overcapacity in the ER, complex surgeries, and personal stress. The episode promises to deliver the nail-biting drama that ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is known for in its season finales.

Season 20 has seen the return of several original cast members, including Ellen Pompeo as Dr. Meredith Grey, Chandra Wilson as Dr. Miranda Bailey, and James Pickens Jr. as Dr. Richard Webber. Other returning cast members include Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Camilla Luddington, Caterina Scorsone, Jake Borelli, Chris Carmack, and Anthony Hill.

The season also introduced new interns played by Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho, Midori Francis, Adelaide Kane, and Harry Shum Jr. Additionally, former series regulars Kate Walsh and Jesse Williams returned in recurring roles as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery and Dr. Jackson Avery, respectively.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ continues to be a ratings powerhouse, and ABC has already renewed the show for a 21st season, which is set to air in the fall of 2024.

Fans can catch up on past seasons of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ on Hulu, with the first 19 seasons available to stream. Season 20 will also be available on Hulu starting tomorrow, May 31.
