On Wednesday, Fox’s animated comedy-noir “Grimsburg” continues its second season with “Crystal Ball,” an episode that finds Detective Marvin Flute facing a particularly personal, and bizarre, case. While Flute is generally more adept at solving the strange crimes that plague Grimsburg, this time, the mystery hits a little too close to home.
Having lived his life with a single testicle, Flute decides to undergo surgery to acquire a second. What could go wrong? Plenty, apparently. The procedure has some unforeseen, and undoubtedly comedic, consequences.
While the specific details of Flute’s post-surgical predicament are being kept under wraps, it’s safe to assume that “Grimsburg” will handle the sensitive subject with its signature blend of dark humor and absurd situations. “Grimsburg” airs Wednesday, April 30 at 9:31 PM ET on FOX.
