In this episode of Grimsburg, airing on Fox on Sunday April 7, viewers will witness the tenacious detective Marvin Flute on the hunt for the elusive “Cartwheel Killer.” After a failed attempt to apprehend the notorious criminal, Marvin seeks a new partner who can match his drive and determination. He desires someone sleek and tough, with a moustache befitting its own 80s TV show—someone like him or even better.
The episode, titled “Manchine,” takes place in the fictional town of Grimsburg, where Marvin, played by Jon Hamm, is the greatest detective ever but struggles to crack the mystery of his own family. Marvin’s ex-wife, Harmony Flute, voiced by Erinn Hayes, was raised by bears, and their son, Stan Flute, voiced by Sean Giambrone, is a presence in his life that he never bothered to get to know.
The show, created by Catlan McClelland and Matthew Schlissel, features a talented voice cast, including Rachel Dratch as Detective Greg Summers, a cyborg with an accident-prone past, and Alan Tudyk as Dr. Rufis Pentos and Mr. Flesh, Marvin’s former music teacher turned nemesis.
“Manchine” promises to deliver suspense and humour as Marvin navigates the complexities of his personal life and the mysteries of Grimsburg.
Grimsburg: Manchine airs on Fox at 9:30 pm/8:30 pm Central on Sunday, 7 April 2024.
