Suburban secrets and buried bodies? Sounds like just another day in Grosse Pointe. In “Pests,” the second episode of this darkly comedic series, the garden club’s carefully cultivated facade begins to crack. Birdie’s relationship with her scholarship student, Ford, takes a turn, raising eyebrows (and suspicions) amongst the group. Meanwhile, Alice’s dog meets an untimely end, and she suspects foul play. Is it paranoia, or is something truly rotten in this seemingly idyllic community?
Elsewhere, Catherine’s affair continues to blossom, but the weight of her deception becomes increasingly difficult to bear. Will she confess, or let her secret continue to fester?
