On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, FX presents a double feature of Grotesquerie with back-to-back episodes 3 and 4 airing from 10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT.
In episode 3, Lois finds solace in an unexpected individual. Then, in episode 4, a peculiar clue leads Lois to a distant location.
The series follows Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash), who is investigating a string of heinous crimes in a small community. Lois feels a personal connection to these crimes, as if something or someone is deliberately taunting her. At home, she faces challenges in her relationship with her daughter and cares for her husband, who is in long-term hospital care.
Lois also battles her inner demons. With no clear leads, she reluctantly teams up with Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun, and journalist with a difficult past.
