Baseball rivalries are a thing of beauty, and few are as memorable – or as explosive – as the one between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers. Vice TV’s “The Grudge” revisits this infamous feud in its new episode, focusing on the epic clash between Jose Bautista and Rougned Odor.
It all started, of course, with Bautista’s legendary bat flip during the 2015 ALDS, a moment that became instantly iconic and a lightning rod for controversy. The tension between the two teams simmered until it finally boiled over in 2016, when Bautista was hit by a pitch, made a hard slide into second, and subsequently found himself on the receiving end of Odor’s now-infamous punch.
“The Grudge” takes viewers inside one of baseball’s most notorious brawls. The episode airs Wednesday, May 28 at 10:00 PM ET on Vice TV.
