Things are about to get fruity on “Guy’s Grocery Games” this Wednesday. Guy Fieri is back, presiding over another culinary showdown, and this time, the star ingredient is, well, fruit. In “All-Star Fruit!,” three top chefs face off in a 60-minute, multi-course battle that will test their creativity and ability to think on their feet.
Starting with a mere $100, each chef has to create a fruit-forward appetizer and entree. But there’s a twist, of course. A fruit auction determines which specific fruits each chef can use, adding extra strategy to the already intense competition. Think exotic fruits, unusual pairings, and some downright surprising dishes.
With only minutes to spare, and an extra $10 thrown into the mix, the chefs face a final challenge: making a dessert where fruit takes center stage. Will these kitchen veterans rise to the occasion or will the pressure get to them? The prize? A shot at winning $20,000.
