The heat is on – literally and figuratively – in Flavortown Market as Guy Fieri’s “Guy’s Grocery Games: The G.O.A.T. Tournament” continues this Wednesday. Six culinary all-stars remain, each vying for the coveted GGG Greatest of All Time title and a hefty $70,000 prize. But with Guy at the helm, the path to victory is never predictable.
This week, the chefs face a double dose of randomness as Guy introduces not one, but two spinning wheels to select both the dishes and the games. From express lane limitations to even-aisle oddities, these food fighters must think fast and cook faster. Up first is the vegetarian dinner challenge where the chefs only have access to the few ingredients located at the express lane. After that, another culinary surprise heads their way, a sudden death elimination round challenging the chefs to make a noodley delight solely using stuff from the even aisles.
With judges like Melissa d’Arabian and Richard Blais offering their expert opinions, the competition is fierce and the tension palpable. Tune in to Food Network this Wednesday, May 14th at 9:00 PM ET to find out who will survive another round in Flavortown.
