Sibling rivalry takes on a whole new meaning in “Happy’s Place.” Bobbie and Gabby, the newly united half-sisters running their late father’s restaurant, are locked in a comedic battle for emcee supremacy. The Tavern’s anniversary party is the setting for this clash of egos, and may God have mercy on anyone caught in the crossfire.
Bobbie, determined to prove she’s the rightful heir to the Happy’s Place throne, sees emceeing the party as her birthright. Gabby, meanwhile, views it as her chance to finally shine, preferably under a disco ball. Their competing ambitions are sure to result in some classic sitcom shenanigans. Expect awkward speeches, botched introductions, and possibly a microphone-related mishap or two.
Adding fuel to the fire, Isabella and Steve have placed bets on the outcome. Because why not profit from familial dysfunction? Their side commentary and questionable advice will no doubt escalate the situation. “Happy’s Place” has been a reliable source of lighthearted entertainment since its premiere in October 2024.
