HBO has announced the premiere date for its upcoming limited series The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, aka “The Penguin.” The series, set in the world of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, will debut on Thursday, 19 September, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will also be available on Max.
The series centres on the character of Oz Cobb, expanding the epic crime saga that began with the blockbuster film. The Penguin continues the story, focusing on the rise of powerful criminal underworld figures in Gotham City.

The Penguin premieres on HBO and Max on 19 September. Developed by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, the series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Craig Zobel, who directs the first three episodes.
