HBO Renews “The White Lotus” for Fourth Season, Extending Its Stay in Premium Cable Paradise

White Lotus Key Art

Even before viewers check into the luxurious, yet undoubtedly fraught, setting of Season 3’s Thailand resort, HBO has confirmed a fourth season of “The White Lotus.” This early renewal underscores the network’s confidence in Mike White’s critically acclaimed anthology series, which continues to attract viewers with its sharp satire of wealth and privilege.

The upcoming third season, premiering Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, promises a fresh batch of interpersonal dramas and uncomfortable encounters. The new ensemble cast features Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, and Walton Goggins, alongside Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiris. The eight-episode season is set to explore the vagaries of human relationships against the backdrop of a lavish Thai White Lotus resort.

The Season 4 renewal signals HBO’s belief in the enduring appeal of “The White Lotus.” While details about the fourth installment remain under wraps, it’s a safe bet that creator Mike White will continue his astute observations of the wealthy and their often-unintentional comedic struggles. The series has garnered significant awards recognition, with Season 1 winning ten Emmys and Season 2 securing five, further solidifying its place as a flagship HBO program.
