Hallmark dips back into the well of first loves and second chances with “Hearts Around the Table: Jenna’s First Love,” airing Saturday, March 22 at 8:00 PM. The film stars Ashley Newbrough as Jenna, an event planner tasked with organizing a charity gala for a billionaire philanthropist. Sounds straightforward enough, right? Well, throw in a dash of romantic complication in the form of Jenna’s first love, Andrew (Steve Lund), and things get considerably more interesting.
Turns out, Andrew is also involved in the charity event, forcing Jenna to collaborate with the very person who holds a special place in her past. Cue the awkward encounters, the rekindled sparks, and the inevitable questioning of “what if?” And because no Hallmark movie is complete without a touch of quirky charm, Mindy Cohn joins the cast as Tom Redland, who almost certainly holds the key to unlocking at least one character’s emotional baggage.
