Help! My House is Haunted “Nightmare Nursery” (Travel, Saturday, November 23, 2024)

Help! My House Is Haunted!

On Saturday night, the Travel Channel’s Help! My House is Haunted trades the usual dusty attics and creaky floorboards for the slightly more unsettling locale of a children’s nursery. Because nothing says “sweet dreams” quite like the lingering echoes of past trauma, apparently.

In “Nightmare Nursery,” we meet Nina, the understandably unnerved owner of a childcare facility operating out of a converted military hospital. Now, I’m no historian, but I’m pretty sure military hospitals aren’t exactly known for their cheerful vibes. Turns out, Nina’s staff isn’t too keen on solo diaper changes these days, reporting shadowy figures and inexplicable noises – the kind that make you question your sanity, not just the structural integrity of the building.

Enter the paranormal SWAT team: Barri Ghai, Jayne Harris, and Ian Lawman. While the specifics of their spectral sleuthing remain tantalizingly vague (gotta save something for the actual episode, right?), we’re told that Ian, the team’s resident ghost whisperer, picks up on a distinct “lady in white” presence. The classic specter in a nightie. Always a crowd-pleaser.

So, what’s the deal with this ethereal resident? Is she the source of the nursery’s nocturnal disturbances, or just another lost soul wandering the corridors of history? The Help! My House is Haunted team aims to find out, hopefully providing some much-needed peace of mind for Nina and her staff. One can only imagine the added stress of running a business while simultaneously wondering if that giggling you hear is a toddler or the ghost of a disgruntled amputee.

Help! My House is Haunted airs Saturday, November 23rd at 10:00 PM on Travel Channel.
