HGTV’s Rock the Block is set to return in Spring 2025, bringing back its popular home renovation competition with even higher stakes. Hosted by Ty Pennington, the new season will feature two veteran teams facing off against two rookie teams in a seven-episode series. The teams will be tasked with transforming larger homes located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, competing for bragging rights and the opportunity to have a street named after them.
The veteran teams include Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab) and previous Rock the Block champion Michel Smith Boyd (Luxe for Less), along with Jonathan Knight (Farmhouse Fixer) and his brother Jordan Knight. The rookie teams will be led by Chelsea and Cole DeBoer (Down Home Fab) and Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama (Renovation Aloha). Each team will have six weeks and a $250,000 budget to renovate identical modern properties featuring the largest backyards in the show’s history.
This season introduces more interior bonus spaces and a mix of experienced and new competitors, bringing fresh energy to the competition.
Rock the Block is produced by Big Table Media, and the homes are built by Hamlet Homes, Utah-based builders. Fans can catch up on previous seasons via Max and discovery+.
