Investigation Discovery (ID) is launching a new six-part series, Hollywood Demons, that reveals the troubling realities behind some of the most well-known names and shows in entertainment. The series premieres on Monday, March 24, from 9-11 PM ET/PT on ID and will also stream on Max.

Here’s the Lowdown: Hollywood Demons features two-hour episodes focusing on different scandals and tragedies in Hollywood. The premiere episode, “Stephen Collins, America’s Dad,” airing March 24, centers on the shocking allegations against 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins. An alleged victim speaks out, and cast and crew members, including Jeremy London, share their reactions.

What This Means Now: This series provides a stark contrast to the often-glamorized image of Hollywood. It features first-hand accounts and insider perspectives, including commentary from addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky and culture writer Scaachi Koul, and should make for some compelling viewing.

The Bigger Picture: Hollywood Demons covers a range of topics, from the struggles of child stars (March 31 episode with Brian Bonsall from Family Ties and Dee Jay Daniels from The Hughleys) to the tragedies surrounding Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (April 7), the scandals of The Real Housewives (April 14, featuring Taylor Armstrong), the “curse” of the Von Erich wrestling family (April 21), and the dangers of celebrity stalking (April 28, featuring stars like Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber). The show, produced by AMPLE Entertainment, works to show the darker side of fame.
