Hollywood Suite is currently in production for the sixth season of its original documentary series A Year in Film. The upcoming season will explore some of the notable films from 1968, 1972, 1981, 1996, and 2008. Notably, this marks the first time the series will cover the 1960s.

The new season will feature commentary from in-house experts Alicia Fletcher, Cameron Maitland, and Emily Gagne, as well as industry professionals such as film critic Radheyan Simonpillai, journalist Nathalie Atkinson, and TIFF’s Director of Programming Robyn Citizen. The series aims to provide insight into the selected films and their impact on film history.
