Ben and Erin Napier, the couple behind HGTV’s “Home Town,” are expanding their renovation reach in a big way. Their latest venture, “Home Town Takeover,” sets its sights on revitalizing the entire town of Sebring, Florida, in its upcoming season. Forget shiplap and subway tile; this time, it’s entire neighborhoods and public spaces getting the Napier treatment.
Sebring, once a bustling hub, has faced its share of hardships. Hurricane damage and a decline in local businesses have left the downtown area struggling. The Napiers aim to breathe new life into the community, tackling over a dozen projects ranging from residential homes to local businesses and public areas. The goal: boost the local economy and reignite community pride.
It’s not just Ben and Erin going at it alone. They’ve assembled a team of HGTV and Food Network stars to assist in this massive undertaking. Dave and Jenny Marrs, Jasmine Roth, and other familiar faces will lend their expertise to the various projects.
The season premiere, airing Sunday, March 10, 2025, on HGTV at 8 p.m. ET/PT (and streaming the same day on Max), focuses on two key renovations: a beloved local soda shop and the home of a dedicated kindergarten teacher.
The scope of this season is ambitious, aiming to match the viewership success of the previous season, which drew over 14 million viewers. Beyond individual homes and businesses, Ben and Erin will collaborate with local leaders to create lasting change in Sebring. This includes improvements to the town’s central park, with new murals and a gazebo designed to foster community gatherings. Efforts to revitalize a local Cuban cafe and a historic theater also aim to attract visitors back to the downtown area.
For those eager to catch up on past “Home Town Takeover” projects, previous seasons are available to stream on Max and discovery+.
