The second episode of “The Horne Section TV Show’s” new season sees Alex Horne facing a different kind of pressure – speech overload. Having just won Best Original Male Artist (yes, really), he’s tasked with writing an acceptance speech. Simultaneously, he needs to craft a birthday speech for Channel 4 executive Ash (Georgia Tennant) and, oh yeah, a monologue for his own show. Just another typical week for Alex Horne.
To make matters worse, a corporate gig hosting the UK Disinfectant Products Awards lands in his lap. How will he possibly manage to write a monologue, a birthday speech, and an awards acceptance speech, all while keeping his trademark “original style” intact? The episode airs Thursday, 22 May at 1:00 AM BST on Channel 4.
