How (Not) To Get Rid of a Body

The third episode of Investigation Discovery’s How (Not) to Get Rid of a Body heads into the dark world of a motorcycle gang and the gruesome murder they committed. The episode, airing on September 18, 2024, at 10 p.m., uncovers the shocking story of Michael DiMauro, a member of the Warlocks motorcycle gang, and his vicious killing of David Rossillo Jr., a prospective gang member.

In December 2017, the 51-year-old DiMauro shot 33-year-old Rossillo four times in a cemetery, displaying an utter disregard for human life. As if the shooting wasn’t enough, DiMauro then tied a rope around Rossillo’s neck and dragged his body across the cemetery grounds with a car, leaving him to die in an underground crypt. The brutality of the crime shocked the nation, and the search for Rossillo, who had been missing for nearly three years, ended in horror.

It wasn’t until April 2020, during a search for another missing associate of the Warlocks, that Rossillo’s body was discovered, bringing an end to his family’s agonizing wait for answers. The episode highlights the intricate investigation that led to DiMauro’s conviction, as detectives from two different counties worked tirelessly to bring the killer to justice.

Facing a potential life sentence without parole, DiMauro, who represented himself at trial, was found guilty on all charges, including first-degree murder, conspiracy, abuse of a corpse, and related firearm charges. The court sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole, ensuring he would never have the chance to inflict such heinous acts again.

How (Not) to Get Rid of a Body: Graveyard Shift airs on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:00 p.m. on Investigation Discovery.
