On Tuesday’s House Hunters International, a couple, seemingly inspired by the HBO hit The White Lotus, sets their sights on Koh Samui, Thailand, hoping to find their own slice of five-star tranquility.
Fresh off the heels of The White Lotus Season 3 filming on location, Koh Samui is experiencing a surge in interest. This couple, eager to capture the island’s pre-tourist-boom charm (or at least the version presented on premium cable), is on a mission to find their dream home before the inevitable influx of White Lotus pilgrims.
Will their budget stretch far enough to secure the serene escape they envision? Or will the reality of Koh Samui’s real estate market clash with their romanticized expectations?
