The seventh episode of How I Caught the Killer’s fourth season focuses on the case of Mark Jensen, who was found guilty of killing his wife, Julie Jensen, in 1998. The episode, airing on Sky Crime on Tuesday, 10 September 2024, at 9 pm, looks into the circumstances surrounding Julie Jensen’s death and the subsequent investigation.

Prosecutors argued that Mark Jensen poisoned his wife with antifreeze and then suffocated her, a claim refuted by the defence, who maintained that Julie, struggling with depression, took her own life and falsely implicated her husband. A letter given to a neighbour by Julie before her death further complicates the situation, as it accuses Mark of wrongdoing should anything happen to her.

The episode also explores the impact of the case on Jensen’s sons, who, believing in their father’s innocence, submitted a letter to the court pleading for his early parole.

How I Caught the Killer: Letter From The Grave – Mark Jensen airs Tuesday, 10 September 2024, at 9:00 pm on Sky Crime.
