Things are getting serious – and stylish – on “Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr.” This Thursday, the competition heads north to Edinburgh, as the three remaining semi-finalists take on the challenge of revamping iconic venues for the famed Festival Fringe.
The designers turn their attention to some of the best known venues on the Fringe circuit; The Monkey Barrel, Summerhall’s Royal Dick, and Home Bar, each needing some design magic to enhance the bar, stage and seating area. With a life-changing design contract on the line, the pressure is on to impress judges Michelle Ogundehin and guest judge Shayne Brady. Their assessments determine who will take the next crucial step to the grand finale.
With only two spots available in the final, the designers must prove they can handle the quick turnaround and high stakes of creating spaces for live performance, all while staying true to their personal design philosophy.
Tune in to BBC One this Thursday, 22 May at 9:00 PM GMT to see whose designs shine brightest – and who faces elimination.
