Marvel’s latest hero, Riri Williams, blasts onto Disney+ on Tuesday, June 24, at 6 PM PT, with a three-episode premiere for the new series Ironheart. Picking up after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the show brings Dominique Thorne back as the brilliant young inventor, who finds herself in the crosshairs of a new threat after returning to her Chicago home.
The initial trio of episodes are titled Take Me Home, Will the Real Natalie Please Stand Up?, and We in Danger, Girl, setting the stage for Riri’s latest adventures. Her unique, self-made iron suits put her on a direct collision course with Parker Robbins, also known as “The Hood,” played by Anthony Ramos. The series looks to feature a struggle between technology and magic, a common MCU theme, but filtered through Riri’s youthful lens.
The ensemble cast includes Alden Ehrenreich, Anji White, Cree Summer, Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Paul Calderón, Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola, Regan Aliyah, Sacha Baron Cohen, Shakira Barrera, Shea Couleé, Sonia Denis, and Zoe Terakes. Ironheart is created by Chinaka Hodge, with Kevin Feige, Ryan Coogler, and Victoria Alonso serving as executive producers.
“Ironheart” premieres Tuesday, June 24, at 6:00 PM PT on Disney+.
