The second season of Irvine Welsh’s Crime debuts on ITV1 on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. The season has previously been available on ITVX.
In the opening episode, DI Ray Lennox (Dougray Scott) is eager to move on from the Confectioner case and prove his mental fortitude. However, when a former colleague is assaulted, Lennox finds himself drawn into a new mystery. He soon suspects that the assault may be connected to a recent, brutal attack on a prominent figure.
As Lennox investigates the case, he encounters resistance and closed doors as he deals with Edinburgh’s diverse landscapes, including saunas, crack dens, and upscale hotels. It becomes clear that a cover-up is at play, and the truth is being carefully guarded.
