ITV Announces 1 Sep Premiere for Fourth Series of Detective Drama Grace

ITV has announced the fourth series of the critically acclaimed detective drama Grace, starring John Simm as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. The series, based on the best-selling novels by Peter James, returns with four feature-length films set in Brighton.

Joining Simm are Richie Campbell as DS Glenn Branson, Zoë Tapper as Cleo Morey, Craig Parkinson as DS Norman Potting, Laura Elphinstone as DS Bella Moy, Brad Morrison as DC Nick Nicholl, and Sam Hoare as ACC Cassian Pewe. The first case will also feature a guest appearance from Robert Glenister.

The first film, Dead Man’s Time, premieres on Sunday, 1 September, and involves Grace and Branson investigating a vicious robbery at a secluded Brighton home, leading them into a web of ancient grudges and a race to catch the culprit. The second episode, Want You Dead, focuses on an unidentified victim found in curious circumstances.

In You Are Dead, Grace and his team uncover skeletal remains and face a kidnapping, while also dealing with a Brighton burglar’s gruesome fate in Love You Dead.

Grace Season 4 premieres 1 September on ITV1.
