ITV has secured a one-year extension with Matchroom to continue broadcasting major snooker and darts events. Under the new agreement, World Snooker Tour tournaments, including the British Open, Champion of Champions, Players Championship, and Tour Championship, will remain available on ITV and its streaming platform ITVX.
The extended deal also covers key Professional Darts Corporation events, such as The Masters, UK Open, European Championship, and Players Championship Finals. Additionally, ITV will broadcast seven World Series of Darts events globally, including the World Series of Darts Finals, which earlier this year saw young talent Luke Littler take victory.
Reflecting the growing popularity of darts, The Masters tournament will expand from 24 to 32 players in 2025, offering more action to fans during ITV’s most extensive year of darts coverage to date.
