The premiere date for After the Flood is Wednesday, 10 January at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. The show’s teaser hints at a thrilling mystery set in a town affected by a catastrophic flood. The story revolves around the discovery of an unidentified man found dead in a lift, sparking an intense investigation led by police officer Joanna Marshall, played by Sophie Rundle.

Alongside Rundle, the cast includes Philip Glenister, Lorraine Ashbourne, Nicholas Gleaves, Matt Stokoe, Jonas Armstrong, and Jacqueline Boatswain.

ITV’s Drama commissioner Huw Kennair Jones commented on the show, stating that Mick Ford has created a compelling thriller that promises to deliver a stunning visual experience and a captivating story.
