Jenn Tran is “The Bachelorette” for Season 21

The Bachelorette

Jenn Tran, a fan favourite from Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, is set to star in the 21st series of The Bachelorette. Airing on ABC and Hulu this summer, Tran’s journey to find love comes after her elimination from The Bachelor during Week 7.

Tran, a 26-year-old physician assistant student from Miami, is the first Asian-American lead in the franchise’s history. Her appointment as the Bachelorette was met with excitement and surprise by fans, due in part to the traditional method of selecting the previous season’s runner-up as the next Bachelorette.

During her time on The Bachelor, Tran made a strong impression with a memorable entrance, arriving in a go-cart rather than the usual limo. She also opened up about her family life, revealing she has a strained relationship with her father, and a close bond with her Vietnamese immigrant mother.

With a debut in July 2024, Tran’s series of The Bachelorette promises to be a historic moment for the franchise.
