A cast reunion and a unique musical performance are on tap for Wednesday’s “Jennifer Hudson Show.” First, the stars of the “Matlock” reboot assemble on Jennifer’s stage. Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, David Del Rio, and Leah Lewis will discuss the new series, which reimagines the classic legal drama for a modern audience.
Then, things take a musical turn with a performance by the City of Angels Pipe Band, joined by Jennifer herself. Pipe Major and Creative Director Trevor Takahashi leads the band, along with two drummers, as Jennifer tries her hand at the bagpipes. The band, founded in 2021, is known for its focus on diversity within the traditionally Scottish art form.
