Jeopardy! Tuesday October 15, 2024, Recap, Winner and Final Answer

Jeopardy! Key Art

In Tuesday’s episode, the contestants were Zoe Grobman, a therapist from Philadelphia; Rishabh Wuppalapati, an undergraduate student from Vernon Hills, Illinois; and Eamonn Campbell, a lawyer from Vermont. Eamonn entered the game as a two-day champion with total winnings of $43,200.

The categories in the first round included “It Stands to Treason,” “In the Mood for Food,” and “NFL Connections.” Eamonn established an early lead, accumulating $4,600 by the first break, while Zoe and Rishabh struggled to find their rhythm. Zoe’s attempt to change her fortunes by wagering $2,400 on a Daily Double in the “Treason” category did not pay off, leaving her at a deficit.

During Double Jeopardy!, the categories shifted to “Dubliners,” “Math Problems,” and “Agricultural History.” Rishabh doubled his score by correctly identifying the Sea of Cortez in the “EZ on the Map” category. Zoe also took a big swing in “Agricultural History,” nearly doubling her total after correctly responding with “domestication.” By the end of the round, Rishabh was in the lead with $15,600, Zoe had moved up to $11,100, and Eamonn trailed with $9,800.

The Final Jeopardy! category was “Presidential Nomination Acceptance Speeches.” The clue referenced a speech mentioning a “new Attorney General” and the end of a “long dark night for America,” which both Rishabh and Zoe correctly identified as a reference to “Who was Nixon?” Eamonn, however, wagered everything and came up short.

With his victory, Rishabh ended the game with $22,201, followed by Zoe with $19,601, while Eamonn’s total dropped to zero.
