Jilly Cooper’s Rivals Premieres on Hulu, Friday October 18

“Rivals,” an eight-part adaptation of Jilly Cooper’s 1988 novel, arrives on Disney+ (UK) and Hulu (US) on October 18.

Set in the fictional English county of Rutshire during the 1980s, the series centers on the feud between Rupert Campbell-Black, an Olympian-turned-politician, and television executive Tony Baddingham, played by David Tennant.

The rivalry spills over into the Corinium television station, impacting the sprawling ensemble cast, which includes Aidan Turner, Annabel Scholey, Katherine Parkinson, Lisa McGrillis, Alex Hassell, Emily Atack, and Danny Dyer.
