FOX is set to premiere “The Snake” this summer, a cutthroat social experiment hosted by comedian Jim Jefferies. The series pits fifteen contestants from persuasive professions against each other in a game of strategy, manipulation, and social skill.

Jefferies will bring his signature wit to the proceedings as players take on a series of challenges. Each week, one contestant earns the title of “The Snake,” gaining control over eliminations. Winning challenges is the key to becoming the Snake and wielding this power.

“The Snake” premieres this summer on FOX and streams the next day on Hulu. The show features a unique elimination process called the Saving Ceremony. This chain reaction forces contestants to form alliances, rewarding both genuine friendships and clever deception.

With a $100,000 grand prize at stake, the series focuses on the social dynamics of the game. Contestants will need more than just physical prowess; they’ll have to master the art of persuasion to survive. SallyAnn Salsano, known for “Jersey Shore,” leads the production as executive producer and showrunner. Frank Miccolis and Kim Green also serve as executive producers.
