Prime Video will launch a UK version of the hit show Last One Laughing in 2025, presented by comedian Jimmy Carr. The series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
Last One Laughing UK will follow the format that has made the show a success globally: 10 British comedians will try to make each other laugh while maintaining straight faces themselves. The show will feature comedy cameos and surprises, promising to entertain audiences.
The UK version will include a mix of established and emerging comedy talent. Carr, known for his dark humour, will act as host, ensuring participants follow the rule: laugh and you’re out.
Last One Laughing is a global phenomenon with local versions in over 20 territories. The format has been popular for Prime Video in France, Germany, and Italy, and has been hosted by names like Graham Norton (Ireland) and Rebel Wilson (Australia) in other countries.
The UK adaptation is produced by Banijay UK labels Initial and Zeppotron for Prime Video.
