“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” 20th Anniversary Primetime Special Thursday January 26
Celebrating 20 years, Emmy® Award-winning ABC late-night staple “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will air a special primetime anniversary episode on Thursday, January 26 at 10PM. Later that night, at 11:35PM, the episode will air again as part of the show’s regularly scheduled programming.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” premiered on January 26, 2003, and the first guests George Clooney, Snoop Dogg, and Coldplay. Clooney, Snoop Dogg, and Chris Martin of Coldplay will return as guests for the 20th anniversary special.
“20 years. I can’t believe it either,” said Kimmel. “It makes absolutely no sense.”
After recently renewing his contract with ABC, Kimmel will host “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for an unprecedented 23rd season, making it one of the longest-running talk shows in U.S. television history.
The show broadcasts from the iconic El Capitan Entertainment Centre on Hollywood Boulevard. Jimmy Kimmel, Erin Irwin, Molly McNearney, Jennifer Sharron, and David Craig serve as executive producers; Douglas DeLuca serves as co-executive producer. “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is produced by 12:05 AM Productions, LLC, in association with KIMMELOT and ABC Signature.
