Jimmy Kimmel Live! Continues its summer season with a week of recent encore episodes and guest hosts taking the reins.
Kicking off the week on Monday, August 26, is the legendary Martin Short, who steps in as guest host. First aired on June 24, he welcomes Steve Martin, discussing his role in “Only Murders in the Building,” and Sienna Miller, who talks about “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.” The evening’s musical guest is Imagine Dragons.
On Tuesday, August 27, RuPaul takes over as guest host. First shown on August 22, Bill Skarsgård and FKA twigs join the show to discuss “The Crow,” while Gabby Thomas shares her experience at the “2024 Paris Olympic Games.” Pepe Aguilar graces the stage as the musical guest.
Wednesday, August 28, and Thursday, August 29, are a double feature with guest host Jeff Goldblum. On Wednesday, John Cena talks about “Jackpot!” and Omar Sy discusses “The Killer.” Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra collaborate with Haley Reinhart for a musical performance, first broadcast on August 13.
Thursday’s episode, originally shown on August 14, features Greg Kinnear, who discusses “You Gotta Believe,” and Janet McTeer, who talks about “Kaos.” Waxahatchexee provides the musical entertainment for the night.
Capping off the week on Friday, August 30, RuPaul returns as guest host in an episode first aired on August 19. Maya Rudolph chats about “Loot,” and Nymphia Wind, Sapphira Cristál, and Plane Jane dish on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Tommy Richman is the musical guest for the evening.
