On Tuesday, June 11, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! welcomes actor and musician Donald Glover, actor Maya Erskine, actor Jesse Plemons, and 96th Scripps National Spelling Bee winner Bruhat Soma to the show.
Donald Glover and Maya Erskine, who star in the Amazon series “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” a remake of the 2005 film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, join the show to discuss their on-screen and off-screen chemistry. Glover, known for his roles in “Community” and “Atlanta,” and Erskine, known for co-creating and starring in “PEN15,” play spies posing as a married couple in the series.
Jesse Plemons, an actor known for his roles in “Friday Night Lights,” “Breaking Bad,” and “The Power of the Dog,” joins the show to discuss his role in the absurdist dark comedy anthology film “Kinds of Kindness.” Plemons won the Best Actor award at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for his performance in the film, which consists of three distinct but loosely connected stories.
Bruhat Soma, a 12-year-old from Florida, is the winner of the 96th Scripps National Spelling Bee. He spelled 29 words correctly during the spell-off, beating out 12-year-old Faizan Zaki, who spelled 20 words correctly. Soma took home a $50,000 cash prize and other rewards for his impressive performance.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
