Jimmy Kimmel Live! is back with another episode as part of its summer season, with guest host Jeff Goldblum. The show welcomes actor John Cena, who will discuss his upcoming film Jackpot!, an action-comedy directed by Paul Feig and written by Rob Yescombe. The film stars Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu, and is set to be released on Prime Video on August 15, 2024. Cena will also executive produce the film.
The episode also features Omar Sy, who will talk about his role in the upcoming remake of John Woo’s action thriller The Killer. Sy, known for his roles in Intouchables and L’Appel de la forêt, takes on a complex character in this modern retelling, which is set for release in cinemas on October 23, 2024.
The show’s musical guests are The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, who will be joined by Goldblum and Haley Reinhart. The group has released several popular covers, including “My Baby Just Cares for Me” and “Gee Baby (Ain’t I Good to You)”, as well as their latest singles, “Lover” and “Tattoo”.
