On Monday, August 19, Jimmy Kimmel Live! welcomes Maya Rudolph, RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Nymphia Wind, Sapphira Cristál, and Plane Jane, and musical guest Tommy Richman. This week’s guest host is RuPaul.
Maya Rudolph, the actor and comedian, joins the show to discuss her role in the Apple TV+ comedy series Loot, in which she plays Molly Wells, a newly single billionaire who runs a charitable foundation. The show’s second season premiered in April 2024 and has been renewed for a third.
Nymphia Wind, Sapphira Cristál, and Plane Jane, three queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be on the show following their appearance in the season 16 finale. Nymphia was crowned the winner after a lip-sync battle with Sapphira, with Plane Jane coming in third.
Tommy Richman, an American singer, rapper, and songwriter, will perform on the show. He rose to prominence with his 2024 single “Million Dollar Baby,” which gained popularity on TikTok and debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
