Is it just me, or does returning to the real world after the holidays feel like getting dental work without anesthetic? Thankfully, Jimmy Kimmel is back to ease the pain with a fresh batch of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” starting Monday, January 6th. And who better to kick things off than Selena Gomez? She’ll be on the couch discussing her new movie “Emilia Pérez.”
Also joining the fun on Monday is Anna Sawai, who you might recognize from “Shōgun” or “Pachinko.” I haven’t seen either, but I’m sure Kimmel will ask her about them, and I’ll pretend to know what he’s talking about. Rounding out the evening, we’ve got music from The Linda Lindas. Honestly, I’m more excited about the band than either of the guests.
