On Thursday nights show Jimmy Kimmel welcomes actor and comedian Martin Lawrence to the show. Lawrence is currently on his “Y’all Know What It Is” stand-up comedy tour.
Also joining Kimmel is Joey King, who stars in the upcoming Netflix film Uglies, based on the 2005 young adult dystopian novel of the same name by Scott Westerfield. In the film, set in a futuristic dystopia with enforced beauty standards, King plays a teenager awaiting mandatory cosmetic surgery who embarks on a journey to find her missing friend. King has been passionate about bringing this story to the screen since reading the book at age 11.
The show will also feature a musical performance by Soul Coughing, a band that reunited in 2024 after disbanding in 2000.
