Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Ted Danson, Mikey Madison

Jimmy Kimmel Live Key Art

We all love Ted Danson. Whether he’s slinging drinks as Sam Malone or solving celestial crimes as Michael, the man’s a goddamn national treasure. But a CIA agent infiltrating a retirement community? That’s a twist even Cheers’ Coach Ernie Pantusso couldn’t predict. Danson stops by Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Thursday to discuss “A Man on the Inside,” his new Netflix series that sounds like “Get Smart” meets “Cocoon.” Expect some amusing anecdotes about swapping martinis for Metamucil and dodging bingo nights instead of bullets. Check out the trailer below.

Beyond the spy games, Danson is also likely to chat about his podcast, “Where Everybody Knows Your Name,” co-hosted with Woody Harrelson. Given their real-life history (and Harrelson’s penchant for, well, Harrelson-esque stories), this segment could go anywhere. Prepare for the unexpected.

Also gracing Kimmel’s stage is Mikey Madison, starring in the new movie “Anora.” Madison plays a stripper who marries into wealth, a premise ripe with both comedic and dramatic potential. Let’s hope Kimmel digs into the intricacies of portraying such a character and the inevitable family drama that ensues.

And because no late-night show is complete without some musical accompaniment, Blxst and Anderson .Paak will grace the stage with their infectious blend of hip-hop and soul. They are expected to bring down the house (or at least make the studio audience sway rhythmically) with “Dance with the Devil” off their debut album, “I’ll Always Come Find You.”
