John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen is back on the menu. ITV1’s breezy cooking series fronted by real-life couple John Torode and Lisa Faulkner is heading into its tenth season, with new episodes set to premiere Sunday, July 6, 2025.

The popular weekend format, which will also stream via STV Player and ITVX, is kicking off with a run of summer-themed episodes built around fresh ingredients, easy prep and crowd-pleasing recipes. Episode one, titled “Masterclass Magic,” focuses on everyday techniques and simple staples viewers can actually master.

Across the first five episodes, the duo will lean into the season with laid-back dishes and accessible tips aimed squarely at home cooks. Fans of the series know to expect a friendly, fuss-free vibe as the pair share space in the kitchen, often mixing banter with genuinely helpful guidance.

Torode, an MBE-awarded chef and MasterChef staple, and Faulkner, an actor-turned-cookbook author, are among ITV Daytime’s most consistent food voices. And they’re not stopping with summer. A second batch of five episodes is already confirmed for later in the year under the banner John & Lisa’s Christmas Kitchen.

Those episodes will deliver a festive spread, with the promise of new centerpiece dishes and holiday shortcuts designed to lower stress and boost flavor.

In a statement, the couple credited the production team for keeping the tone true to them: “We love our little program and we feel so grateful we get to do it. We have such an excellent team who give us so much freedom to just cook together and it’s always the food we love and believe in. We never take it for granted.”
