Episode 2, “Why Not Me?”, takes us back to the beginning, chronicling Naomi Judd’s efforts to launch her teenaged daughter Wynonna’s music career in Nashville. When Wynonna’s solo attempts don’t immediately take off, Naomi steps in, and the iconic mother-daughter duo is born.
Through interviews with Wynonna and Ashley Judd, as well as Naomi’s widower, Larry Strickland, the documentary gives a personal look at their journey.
