The Junior Bake Off tent is once again open for business, welcoming a fresh batch of pint-sized pastry prodigies ready to tackle the trials and tribulations of Cake Day.
Eight young bakers, armed with whisks and unwavering enthusiasm, will face the discerning palates of judges Ravneet Gill and Liam Charles. Host Harry Hill, purveyor of puns and general silliness, will preside over the inevitable flour-fueled chaos.
Liam Charles has concocted a Technical challenge guaranteed to push these young chefs to their limits. Meanwhile, the Showstopper challenge asks the bakers to create a cake representing the one thing they can’t live without. Expect a diverse array of sugary tributes to everything from video games to family pets.
Who will emerge as this heat’s Star Baker? And who will succumb to the pressure and produce a culinary catastrophe? The answers await on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 5 pm on Channel 4.
