Here’s a vacation gone seriously wrong. Kaley Cuoco is heading to the south of France for “Vanished in Marseille,” a new four-part mystery thriller that just began production for Prime Video. Forget strolling through picturesque vineyards; Cuoco’s character, Alice, finds her romantic getaway turning into a desperate search when her boyfriend, Tom (played by Sam Claflin), vanishes from a train.
This sudden disappearance kicks off a dangerous quest for Alice. As she tries to find Tom, she starts uncovering some unexpected facts about the person she thought she knew. It sounds like the kind of show that will keep you glued to your screen, trying to figure out what happened right alongside the main character.
The series brings together an international mix of actors, with Karin Viard, Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian, and Dar Zuzovsky joining Cuoco and Claflin. Directing the series is Barnaby Thompson, working from a script by Preston Thompson, who also created the show with David Hilton. A group of executive producers, including James Clayton and Prime Video UK’s Tushar Jindal, are also on board.
Speaking about the show, Jindal hinted at a compelling story designed to keep folks wondering what’s going on. You’ll be able to stream “Vanished” exclusively on Prime Video sometime in 2026. Looks like Cuoco is swapping comedy for some serious suspense.
