Vice President Kamala Harris is set to join “The View” for her first live interview since becoming the Democratic nominee for president. The interview, scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, will take place at the show’s New York City studio, where Harris will engage in discussions about her candidacy, the 2024 election, and the Biden/Harris administration’s accomplishments. This will be her first talk show appearance since accepting the nomination.
This will mark Harris’ eighth overall appearance on “The View,” with her most recent visit being in January 2024. She previously appeared as a guest while serving as a United States senator for California, and later as vice president in September 2021. “The View” has featured notable political figures over the years, including President Joe Biden, who made an appearance in September 2024.
The show, now in its 28th season, remains one of the top-rated daytime talk shows in the U.S. It has earned multiple Emmy Awards and continues to draw political candidates and personalities for in-depth discussions on current affairs. “The View” is executive produced by Brian Teta and directed by Sarah de la O.
