Dark comedy Kaos is set to premiere on Netflix on Thursday, 29 August 2024. Created by Charlie Covell, the British mythological series explores the intersection of ancient prophecy, corrupt gods, and three unsuspecting humans.
Kaos centres on a self-doubting Zeus, played by Jeff Goldblum, who becomes paranoid about the potential end of his reign after noticing a wrinkle on his forehead. This seemingly insignificant detail sparks fear and vengeance towards those he rules over.
Unbeknownst to Zeus, three mortals—Riddy, Orpheus, and Cassandra, portrayed by Aurora Perrineau, Killian Scott, and Billie Piper, respectively—hold the power to challenge the gods.
The series also stars David Thewlis as Hades, Janet McTeer as Hera, Queen of the Gods, Debi Mazar as Medusa, and Eddie Izzard as Lachy. Rounding out the cast are Rakie Ayola and Stanley Townsend, along with Misia Butler as Caneus and Nabhaan Rizwan as Dionysus.
Kaos is streaming on Netflix from 29 August 2024.
