NBCUniversal Syndication Studios is keeping Karamo in the daytime mix, handing the Karamo Brown-fronted talker a fourth season renewal as the series continues to hold firm across key demos and market share.
The pickup reflects a quiet but steady success story for Karamo, which has carved out a niche with its emotionally charged reunions, real-world conflicts, and Gen Z-skewing segments like “Unlock the Phone”—a mobile-forensics style format that breaks down personal digital trails. The show is pulling in an average of 594,000 viewers in its third season, with consistent traction among women and adults 18-49 and 25-54.
Tracie Wilson, EVP at NBCUniversal Syndication Studios and E! News, cited the show’s continued connection with audiences, while executive producer Kerry Shannon praised Brown’s “genuine” rapport and de-escalation skills—cornerstones of the format since its 2022 launch.
Brown, who first broke out on Queer Eye, has become a distinct voice in daytime, offering a more contemporary take on the conflict-resolution formula popularized by earlier formats. The show has managed to grow its quarter-hour lead-in in key urban markets like Dallas, Philly, Houston, Atlanta and D.C., and airs not just via syndication but also on multicast net Bounce.
No word yet on new format tweaks or guest bookings for Season 4, but Brown has teased “more to come.”
