Kat Sadler’s “Such Brave Girls” Now Filming for Three

Production on the BBC Three comedy written and starring Kat Sadler, titled Such Brave Girls, and produced by Various Artists Ltd and A24, has begun.

Life and love are examined in all their ugliness in Such Brave Girls. Come along with Josie (Kat Sadler), Billie (played by her real-life sister, Lizzie Davidson), and mom Deb (Louise Brealey) as they try to make a better life for themselves. These very brave girls have the chance to discover who they are, but should they take it with nothing more than their ability to see the line and bravely step over it?

Kat Sadler says

Kat Sadler says “Ultimately the show is a family sitcom about trauma, but it’s more about us being narcissistic losers who are pathetically obsessed with what people think about us.”

Who is making the series

Such Brave Girls (6×30) is a VAL and A24 production for BBC Three and BBC iPlayer and was commissioned by Jon Petrie, Director of BBC Comedy and Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three. The Director is Simon Bird and the Producer is Catherine Gosling Fuller. The Commissioning Editor for the BBC is Gregor Sharp.

Transmission information for Such Brave Girls will be announced at a later date.
