Another day, another Kellyoke. On this Friday edition, Clarkson tackles Mark Chesnutt’s “Ain’t That Lonely Yet.” As for the guests, Seth Meyers is promoting his latest stand-up special, Dad Man Walking. I imagine this involves anecdotes about parenting, which, let’s face it, is a topic that can be either hilarious or excruciatingly dull. Hopefully, Meyers leans toward the former.
Then there’s Bridget Everett, who’s discussing the third season of her HBO dramedy Somebody Somewhere. Everett’s brand of comedic rawness is definitely an acquired taste, but she’s a reliably engaging presence. It’s always interesting to see how she translates her cabaret persona to the small screen.
And because this show can’t resist a country music act, we also have Drake White, as well as, Brantley Gilbert and Ashley Cooke who will perform their hit “Over When We’re Sober.”
The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays at 3:00 pm on NBC.
